Research Interests:

  • Robotics and mechanical systems design and analysis, including optimal design, ergonomic design, design of modular mechanical systems, incorporation of theoretic techniques in mechanical systems, and adapting these concepts for biomedical applications.
  • Control system design, test and measurement in mechatronics, and adapting these concepts for biomedical applications, especially surgical robotics, rehab instrumentation, and assistive robotics.
