SELECTION OF A MAJOR: THE SECOND CURRICULAR COMPONENT
Each student must complete a major in a discipline or area of concentration in order to graduate.  Specific requirements for each major are described in detail in the departmental listing in the Undergraduate Bulletin. The major must be declared prior to the first semester of the student’s junior year.

The following is a list of majors and programs, organized by College.  The link will take you to the major/department website, where you can learn much more about the major, including the major requirements listed by semester.  When you see “distribution requirement” you should refer back to the general education requirements.   If you select a major on your course preference form, you may be assigned some of these courses in your first semester.  Be sure to read the course descriptions.
