Curriculum

Cur·ric·u·lum can be defined as follows: 1) All the courses of study offered by an educational institution or 2) A group of related courses, often in a special field of study: the engineering curriculum
The Wilkes Curriculum has three components.
1) The first is a set of General Education Requirements, which provides a common foundation in the arts and sciences for all students at Wilkes University.
2) The second component is the major. The major provides for in-depth study of a field of specialization. The requirements for each major can be found in the Undergraduate Bulletin.
3) The third component, elective courses, enables students to pursue personal interests, to explore new areas of learning, or to complete a minor or a second major.
